Welcome to the Children's Ministry at St. Thomas Haymarket
I tell you the truth anyone who will not recieve the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." - Mark 10:15

OUR MISSION
At St. Thomas Haymarket, we consider our children's ministry to be a very large part of our church. We have developed a weekly children’s teaching hour that immerses children in age-appropriate biblical truths, helping to set a foundation that will last a lifetime. This church program offers a partnership with parents to bring God's influence into their child's life and mind. God's promises are taught in classes and children are challenged to keep His commandments in their daily lives.

OUR MINISTRY
Our ministry provides classes for nursery (ages 0-2), Foundations (ages 3-4), Kids for Christ (ages 5-7), Apprentices (3rd-4th grade) and Faith Adventures (5th-6th grade). These classes provide age-appropriate instruction on God’s Word while providing each child with a spiritual foundation to biblical truths. Our children’s ministry uses curriculum, memorization, music, art and creativity to cultivate the Seeds of the Holy Spirit in your child. Our curriculum for this year is FaithWeaver, by Groups Publishing.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to strengthen the Christian values that are being placed in your child’s heart at home. We are a compliment to your parental guidance to ensure that your child is receiving an effective biblical foundation. If you need assistance, our children’s ministry is available to provide resources and advice on how to better equip your family at home.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are a vital part of our ministry and we would love to talk to anyone interested in helping behind the scenes or hands-on in the classroom. Please contact Sarah Royer at
