Mission Opportunities

Many mission opportunities are available through both campuses of St. Thomas. Please take a look at additional local missions at the Manassas campus as well.

You can drop off donations for BOTH Food Pantry & DC Homeless at the Sunday Services.  Use the labelled purple container in the back of the sanctuary.  We will insure they get to the Manassas site.

Habitat for Humanity's A Brush with Kindness
Ongoing ministry opportunities are available in our local area with Habitat for Humanity. There is general carpentry and yard cleanup to be done.  All skill levels are welcome.  For more details, please contact: Tim Grembowski (703-753-7471).  This is a wonderful way to share your time & talents and great way to meet people in our congregation & community.

Gulf Coast Mission Trip
The START committee is organizing a Mission trip from Jan 31 to Feb 7th to the Gulf Coast to repair/build hurrican stricken homes.  Contact Cliff Farrar, team leader @ (703) 794-8441.  This is another wonderful experience to share your talents & energies in a variety of ways such as meal preparation, leading devotionals, or leading & assisting on a repair crew.  Believe it or not, they are addressing hurricane Katrina damage in 2005 (I recall), not the 2008 hurricanes.
